My journey into the mental health field began early in life, shaped by a deep sense of compassion and responsibility to help others in my small hometown. As a teenager, I volunteered in my community—caring for the children of immigrant workers, helping an elderly neighbor manage chronic pain, and going door-to-door to ensure families in need received free meals. These formative experiences planted the seed for what would become a lifelong passion for service.
After high school, I pursued studies in business and social work, but it was through continued volunteer work in my community and church that I truly discovered the power of human connection—how simply listening, encouraging, and showing up for someone could make a lasting impact. This realization led me to return to school and earn my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, with a focus on interpersonal practice and mental health.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have continued to learn and grow through hands-on experience in both community outreach and clinical settings. These opportunities deepened my understanding of mental health and strengthened my commitment to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges.
Today, I bring that same spirit of service and empathy into every session, walking alongside my clients as they work toward healing, empowerment, and personal growth.
